| Thomas Marlowe, M.D., won first place in the nation in Lincoln-Douglas debate during high school. After graduation, Dr. Marlowe shared his success with others by teaching public speaking at the VBI Institute in Santa Cruz, California. One of his students with no prior experience in Lincoln-Douglas debate went to quarter-finals competition and ranked thirteenth in the nation. Another student of Dr. Marlowe's became the next national champion. |

| After a more than fifteen year hiatus from public speaking for medical training, Dr. Marlowe returns to public speaking -- educating audiences of all sizes about successful weight loss methods. |

| "Dr. Marlowe's presentation was light and at times funny, but his message was very serious. He shares insight and compassion, as well as secrets, to his own success. His message was well received and brought forth numerous questions from the audience." |

| "Dr. Marlowe did an excellent job engaging the diverse members of The Rotary Club of Charlotte as he explained his sensible M.O.S.T weight loss program. Many Rotarians were especially intrigued with his 10 tips for helping anyone with successful weight loss, particularly his admonition to 'avoid foods that don't look like God intended them to look.'"
