| Thomas Marlowe, M.D., left a multi-specialty physician practice in Indianapolis to move to Charlotte, so he could practice Bariatric Medicine, opening up the Weight Loss Institute. He graduated cum laude in 1995 from the Ivy League’s Dartmouth College and in 1999 from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an internship at the University of Massachusetts and residency in Family Medicine at Indiana University. Dr. Marlowe is a well-respected member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the American Association of Family Physicians, the North Carolina Association of Family Physicians, the Mecklenburg Medical Society, and the Massachusetts Medical Society. He ranked in the top 10% in his board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine and he takes yearly Maintenance-of-Certification exams to provide the most up-to-date care for his patients. He practices only Bariatric Medicine at the Weight Loss Institute. |
